The true victim of Rita, the hurricane that wasn't, is our bank account. It will be exactly one week since I last worked when I return Wednesday morning. When you consider we have been living paycheck to paycheck (who am I kidding, my paychecks are a joke at best)...er...rellying on tips to get by; we are really hurting now

Barbara is always saying she's not really looking for male bartenders but she always ends up hiring them. If they're exceptionally personable, they do rather well sometimes. You might give it a go.

I haven't been there in ages, one of these days I need to stop in after work (regardless of possible employment or not).

I had heard that about Barbara from Lish, so I just automatically ruled it out. Thanks for the tip.
