I just spent 4 hours doing research for a group of finnish pupils who wanna visit Berlin and Potsdam in October and as I agreed to show them Potsam I googled for the last hours...checking prices and locations and exhibitions and if one can book guides in English and where we could have lunch with 35 people and where we would leave our bus etc etc ( Read more... )

As our visitor from Munich will probably leave tomorrow and as he wanted to watch "Das Leben der Anderen" we will rent the DVD tonight. And I'm pretty curious, though I don't know if I'm gonna like the film, as it shows some dark aspects of my "homecountry" and as I never experienced anything bad in the GDR myself it's always a little weird to hear ( Read more... )

I'm still trying to find out, what actually keeps me from starting to work on my exam topics and even the quite reasonable aspect of the different scientific interests of me and my possible examiners seems to be a just too simple excuse...just like the time I'm spending for googling pictures and the like. Today seems to be one of these awful days again when you thought you would get done a load of things but instead you end up googling for pics and get lost in reading all the great livejournal-posts and I seem to be glued to all the gorgeous pics in them...
