You have to buy a phone that's "unlocked" I think. That's the key.

Is SOY down again?

Ok now do a search on ebay for "Sprint Phones" it should show you all the phones unlocked to work with sprint, i don't know if you have a sim card, but if you do it makes it much easier. Also most sellers will list and provide you instructions on how to activate the phone.
