What cracks me up is a friend of mine wants to try lutefisk (yes, he wants to eat it of his own free will) but he thinks that apple pie with cheese on top is gross and he won't touch it.

Now me, being a good Northern Girl, adores cheese & apple pie, and can attest that it is delicious, unlike lutefisk, which is just...gross. So, I called him on his comparison and said that if he was willing to try rotting fish in goo, he should be willing to try cheese on apple pie.

He still has yet to try it.
