Poor Jasmin, I am sorry. Love her Mafia name though. Blackhole is a great name for Sebastian

Jasmine really had a variety of names.

I didn't know Jasmine had died. Strange to think of you not having a Burmese.

I lost Kuura, my silver Somali last summer, to a very fast-developing chest infection. Tycho, the Birman, died last month. His heart was getting worse, his kidneys were failing and he had some spinal trouble which made him doubly incontinent. He'd almost stopped eating and lost 500g in a fortnight between vet visits, so it seemed time to say goodbye.

I'm so sorry. Jasmin went from a solid little cat to a bag of bones in a couple of weeks too. The week before she was fascinated by the new cat tree we bought her and I thought we'd have longer. I couldn't cope with posting about it at the time.

It's so hard losing them, and I've never stopped missing previous cats.
