The Last Jedi

The Last Jedi was great! It's easily the best of the three most recent: danger, excitement, plus humour. Pity Rian Johnson isn't directing the next one too.

We went to the midnight showing (well, one minute past to make it the day of release) so this is a couple of days late. I could say a lot about it, but

That's good to hear. :) I haven't seen it yet, but plan to go soon.

If I still lived there, I'd go again with you and see it in 3D. Which certainly wasn't the case with Rogue One - once was enough.

I mentioned elsewhere that I intended to go to watch it with some friends this afternoon. Unfortunately I have gone down with a nasty feverish cold, and have had to pull out. Perhaps I'll be able to get to see it on my own in a week or two, though it won't be quite the same.

What a disappointment! Maybe someone will go again with you - it's certainly worth seeing twice! When I was in Auckland, I'd go at midnight with Greg for 2D he only has one eye) and again with imhilien a week or so later in 3D.

I have yet to find an SF or just SW fan here. But I'd be up for a second viewing.
