Once again ThinkGeek have done themselves proud. And you never know - some of their joke products have become real ones like the Tauntaun sleeping bag.

WANT:
Steam-powered gaming cabinet. Well, it's really the controller I lust after.
Wearable interactive quest thingy. Look, this one could a possible future real thing.
Voltron cat condo. Just YES, YES ( Read more... )

The Enterprise frisbee was last year's April Fool's joke, I would love to see some of this year's turned into reality too. I am not a GoT fan but the idea of a more complex game of Clue(do) does appeal.

There's a Big Bang Theory Cluedo selling at Mighty Ape (our local version of ThinkGeek) that I'm considering for Greg's birthday.

I had to check that out. It turns out that it's widely available in the UK. I'd wondered if it would involve Sheldon being murdered, but apparently it's merely a question of who it was who betrayed him.

Yep, like who dog-eared his comic in the laundry. :-)

Ahahahaha, the selfie rig. Although that's nowhere near as bad as what I encountered a while ago: the vibrator with a camera on the end so you can take vaginal selfies. And that's not even an April Fool's. I can understand wanting to use one if you're worried about your health down there, but uploading it onto the internet? Jesus.

I've noticed that you can identify the not-currently-real items based on whether the green checkmark says "In stock" or something else. Also, the prices for the imaginary items are quite high.

I got a big kick out of the EnCounter.

Yep, I noticed that too. There was only the Enterprise frisbee in stock. The text on the other ones is often quite funny.

Love the Voltron cat condo (and the warning that cats don't transform). :D

Cats are very certain of their identities. Pity that the condo doesn't include the flaming sword...

There are ways to learn Klingon - just not Rosetta Stone. A university in the US once offered a course.

See if you can find the Klingon word for chocolate in my icon. :-)

The last word? Well, there is a Klingon/English and English/Klingon dictionary and also my editor published Hamlet in Klingon many years ago. But I have never made myself do something, though I would learn easily, it seems that phonetically I would have no problem with pronunciation:-)

Yes, correct!

I'd learn it if I had someone to talk to.
