Good job! And, yup, it makes perfect sense that Vila would be doing unobtrusive magic modestly calibrated to what he could get away with.

You balanced the tone perfectly--gently funny, but also bittersweet. I've been thinking recently about just what does constitute a "plot" and this is an excellent example of how a story about interior action can be "plotty" and well-structured.

From you, high praise indeed! I had a vague idea about Avon and Vila being wizards but when I drew Draco Malfoy, it started to come together.

Oh, this was excellent! (Not that that should be a surprise by now!) But it's a really neat way to merge the two worlds and facilitate the meeting that feels plausible and I love what you've done with the encounter. It's great. :-)
