Top Ten on AO3

I thought I'd do the "my top 10 AO3 stories" meme only because the fandoms are an interesting mix. Why yes, B7 hardly features, but none of my fandoms is exactly a major one except for SGA which I crossed with B7 and rendered minor.

I haven't seen this meme, how does it work? Top 10 commented on, viewed, rec'd?

You just sort by hits which puts those stories with the most at the top. I've seen three people do it so far.

Not having 10 stories up, I don't have to do this :) Mfu is also comparatively low on hits, I think a lot of the older fans haven't discovered AO3. Just as you noticed, the crossovers do a lot better there too. But I enjoy using AO3 to read, I love being able to sort by length.

(That way I don't have to wade through the drabbles)

Actually a couple of my Yuletide ones are pretty short.

I have my B7 stuff on my site and a B7 archive (Hip Deep in Heroes) but I like having a place I can put anything no matter which fandom it's for. And it's a great place to read newer fandoms like Sherlock.

I don't write fanfic but I like to read it sometimes. I hadn't heard of this site, but will go read some of these soon. :)

It's a really great site! You can look up by fandom then filter on all sorts of criteria (crossover fandom, character, pairing, other tags) to find what you like. It's very easy for authors to use too.
