I would buy some of those things if they existed and I lived there. Is the Astronaut ice-cream for real? I was tempted to get that but decided they wouldn't ship it here. It's Greg's birthday soon so I put in an order for a slanket (as seen on Big Bang Theory) and three t-shirts: a BBT one (see icon*), Wargames, and a capsaicin molecule--he already has and loved the caffeine one. I'll wear the t-shirt he likes least. Freight is 50% of the total but hey, I only do it for special occasions.

* the rock paper scissor lizard Spock game the characters invented. You really should check that program out: so many geeky fannish references: comics, films, Trek, Battlestar Galactica...

Astronaut ice cream is a real product. I remember buying it at science museums when I was a kid. Do they just not allow food to shipped in?

And, hey, I have the caffeine shirt, too!

I'm pretty sure I've already got BBT on my Netflix queue somewhere, it's just a question of getting to it.

I know there are whole ranges of products Amazon won't ship overseas (toys, food etc) so I didn't even try. What's it like?

Greg also has the Lost one (which I can no longer find) but he doesn't wear it in public though he loved it too. The caffeine one gets to leave the house in weekends. I suppose it's subtle enough that he doesn't think people will notice him and try to read it. Have you considered the Stark Industries one? ;-)

Re TBBT: It took me about 3 episodes to get to know the characters; they've all really grown on me since. And there are more female ones in the future.

It livened up a dull evening for me! And still is this morning as I continue to explore.

I clicked on Buy Now so I could send a request for the Playmobil Apple Store to become reality. You never know. I thought that was just so cute!

Good luck! Popular products have made it into reality in the past.

No! I am supposed to be doing other things and I have now spent many minutes trawling through appealing and desirable but non-existent products! Shame on you and your tempting.

And I reeeeeally want the Playmobil Apple Store, and the optional queue.

Did you click on Buy Now? Some products have made it to reality when enough people wanted them, and I'd say this one stands a good chance if Apple plays along.

[Edit] And I LOVE that icon!

I did! The tiny 'presentation in progress' and the optional extra queue really sold it for me.

Isn't it neat? kazzy_cee does some wonderful non-fandom icons.
