Camellias and a striped cat

Today is horrible: grey, wet, and with the rain clouds extending to the ground, the horizon is all strangely blurred like London in Sherlock. However it's been fine enough for me to get photos of my camellias which brighten up winter for me, with a bonus Ashley who does the same (along with Jasmin and Vic)

The pink camellias are a joy of colour, aren't they ? I don't have anything as lush as that in my garden in the winter.

Ashley's beautiful, and looking very grown-up, there. She's nicely camoflagued against the silvery parts of the decking, too.

I'm so pleased we have some colour. The magnolias are coming out now too, but we just have white. I love the pink ones down the road.

Claudia used to match the silvery deck too.

She's another flower in my garden! There's a quote I read once that kittens are the flowers in the garden of life. Cats are too. :-)

Ashley is such a stunner, and so are those camellias. They look huge!

They are! They're bigger than my fist. I think they usually are here.
