I didn't much like the last ep, but this one was awesome, which more than made up for it.

I know, I loved that poor, dead sweeper!

As for the rest, oh man, I'm sitting on my fingers to avoiding saying anything with spoilers. :) Except that it was Brigitte behind the assassination attempt, she was playing her own game. She's pretty high up and well-connected in the Centre, remember.

It was an awesome Parker and Broots ep, for sure.

Heh. Yeah. I do know what you mean. :)

I wish they'd kept Hayes for a while. I liked him, but kudos for doing the unexpected with him. Usually you can pick a redshirt a mile off.

Huh! I always thought of Brigitte as Raines's lackey. Ah well, on to the next ep. Maybe even this evening.

I must say, I quite enjoyed "Gigolo Jarod," even if there were a couple of aspects to it that had me rolling my eyes a bit, but, yes, this one is unquestionably awesome. :)

And I almost feel sorry for the guy for having to live in the Centre.

I don't. I bet he does it by choice. :)

And Angelo, who knows as much as Jarod about the Centre in his own way.

More than Jarod, in some ways. :) I adore poor, dear Angelo, I really do.

Poor tragic broken people, you need each other and you're starting to realise it.

This is so very, very true, and I think it's a major emergent theme of the show.

I am strangely relieved to find that Daddy isn't quite the cold unfeeling bastard I'd thought.I would be, maybe, but damn it, every time I find a shred of sympathy for the man, he always seems to go and do something to remind me why I hate him. As a character, though, he's grown on me a lot as I've watched the show. He is more complicated than he might ( ... )

The thought of Jarod studying the Kama Sutra, then applying it--and very well too--was both funny and very disturbing given that he was a virgin until the South American woman last season. But then he turned all coy with the married woman; I dunno, somehow the whole story just didn't hang together well for me.

I bet he does it by choice.

Probably. I was sort of thinking, the guy has nothing but his work so that's why he lives there. I bet he has no friends or hobbies. And I did say "almost". :-)

The more I know Angelo, the more I like him. He's taken longer to grow on me than Jarod (that was about three eps), but he has. I'm not sure that Kyle ever will though.

Well, I like Daddy more for caring about his wife after all (I'd felt so sorry for her for marrying him) and for loving Parker. I'd thought he didn't give a damn about either. It at least gives him some grey.

Yeah, I should catch up. I've been so slack lately. I haven't watched any more Farscape either.

See, I thought that was both very amusing and very him. I mean, she wants to get down to business, and he wants to look at pictures of her family, and then makes it a personal project to save her marriage? That's our Jarod. :) Besides, it makes sense to me that the thought of going too far with that particular Pretend might make him uncomfortable, even apart from his complete psychological inability to participate in adultery. Sex is pretty intimate, after all, and intimacy is one thing he really doesn't have a lot of experience with.

I dunno, somehow the whole story just didn't hang together well for me.

The actual plot of the week is extremely boring, as I recall. I'll definitely give ya that much. :)

Yeah, that's probably very true. Although I kind of think playing mad scientist is his hobby. :P
