I didn't do much that was exciting today, but Greg did. I bought him a three weeks early birthday present: an hour's flight over the three volcanoes (Ruapehu, Ngauruhoe, and Tongariro) at the other end of the lake. He took lots of crater and lahar pictures, plus a good one of The Village as he came back in to land

Greg got lots of pictures of steaming volcanoes and crater lakes, and I have several of the cat; he was rather a poser. He was so cute, following me around the apartment. I'll put the photos in an an LJ gallery when I get home, and do some picspam posts. :-)

I agree, I met a lovely one on the walk home from work yesterday.
I made the cake, it was great! I left out the alcohol, and it's still lovely - thank you for the recipe :0)

Judging from the Burmans I knew donkeys years ago it was probably looking for daytime company. They are very people orientated beauties and the ones I knew would climb you if you ignored them, luckily it was the time of the maxi so only my clothes suffered

We're upstairs though, and unless we leave a door open or see him on the stairs again (outside ones good for sunning on) I doubt I'll see him again. He was adorable though, and posed beautifully for the camera. :-)

We heard Sri Lanka beat them. We don't get to see matches we're not in, but we'll get all the Super 8 ones.
