Well tomorrow I'm supposed to be visiting Lisa at Ren Faire, but things have gone kind of sour with the transportation bit. Originally Jonathan and I were going to go together, but that fell through. That leaves me driving through Pacheco Pass on my own, which is a very dangerous mountain road. I'll basically be doing that on my way down to

If you take the 5 down, it's really easy. It's just the 5. I swear, it's like those games where they take one screen, and repeat it over and over, until you finally get to a castle and save the princess, or die a horrible, horrible death.

Oh, and on the way, you can pass Casa de Frutas. And Casa de RVs. And...well, they took the franchise a little too far, in my opinion, but you get the point.

The biggest thing is that you need to make sure you're not drowsy on the 5. It's kind of hypnotic.

I didn't know you'd be in Riverside soonish! When are you going to be around? I should get Noel to bring me out to Riverside on a weekend he's in LA to visit...

And Dione is right, especially about the 5. The 5 makes you really sleepy if you aren't careful. Then you get to the 10, and it's straight to Riverside from there...
