~Chapter 11: More to this~
Noriko looked at Sho and knew the blush was noticeable as is spread across her cheeks. He moved closer and to get a better look into her eyes.
“Noriko…”
She wanted to look away, “Yes?”
“I…Um.” Sho pulled back and looked at the ground, “You’ll get it.”
“Oh, yeah…I’ll um try to concentrate harder.” Noriko said softly, “How did you do it in the first place?”
“Oh I just looked at the leaf and versioned it burning.” Sho said picking up a random leaf. “I looked at the middle and imagined flames slowly growing before spreading out and making a perfect circle.”
“And it works?” Noriko asked raising one of her eyebrows.
“Just try it.” Sho said, “You’ll understand.”
Noriko sighed and picked up a leaf, she stared at it hard visualizing flames slowly burning the leaf. As Noriko looked it started to smoke she gazed hard at the leaf and soon fire spread fast.
“Noriko stop!” Sho yelled and she jumped dropping the burning leaf. Sho stomped on it and when he was sure the fire was out he looked at her. Sho sighed, “You could’ve gotten hurt!” he said glaring. “Be careful.”
“I’m sorry!” Noriko said, “I don’t know what happened I was in a trance…”
“That sometimes…it’s an invisible string that tugs at your powers you have to be focused other wise to much can slip out and something like that…” He said pointing to the burnt ground, “…Could happen.”
Noriko nodded, “I didn’t know.”
Sho looked at her and sighed, “Come on.” He said, “Let’s go back to Master Ohno.”

“Mizumi.” Akira said walking towards the room they shared, “Mizumi what’s wrong.”
Mizumi laid on her side looking out the window. She wiped her eyes and looked over at her sister. “Nothing.”
“Don’t lie to me.” Akira said walking into the room and sitting on the edge of Mizumi’s bed. She then looked over at her bed and sighed. “I know the feeling Mizumi.”
“How could you possibly know how I feel?” Mizumi said sadly. “I didn’t even know how I felt.”
Akira looked at Mizumi once more, “I know because I was there.” Akira sighed, “I was…I am…” she shook her head, “A man came to this village…he was a magical in every sense of the word and me and my best friend fell in love with him.”
“I never knew…”
“You weren’t old enough to remember.” Akira said looking down at her hands. “The three of us were very close…” Akira looked sad, “He wanted Ayame…I was so…heartbroken and even after they were married I still wanted him.”
“Sister…”
“I know.” Akira said looking at her, “but my heart wouldn’t listen to what was right.” Akira frowned, “The swords came for the women in the village I was inside and Ayame was trying to fight them all off, but there were too many of them…I remember looking out of the window and her eyes caught mine. She pleaded for me to help save her. but I turned my back on her and let her be taken.”
Mizumi gave her a horrified look.
“When he came back came back to find his wife was taken, he looked me in the eyes and he shut down.” Akira shook her head and tried to keep the tears at bay, “He hated me for not helping his wife, and I hated myself for letting jealous cloud me.”
Mizumi swallowed and looked at her sister before getting up and hugging her, “It’s alright, I’m sure he’s forgiven you by now…I’m sure.”
Akira shook her head, “Ohno will never forgive me for the pain I have caused him, and I shall never forgive myself.”
Mizumi sighed, “We are a lot alike.”
Akira hugged Mizumi back, “We have each other at least.”
Mizumi smiled, “Always.”

Yori was walking around the kingdom with her head held high. It was how things were as she was the Queen. Her guards were following her just in case. She hadn’t been feeling very well lately and she didn’t understand why, ‘I’ll be fine.’ She said nodding and kept walking when she felt something stop her and she dropped to the ground.
“My lady!” was the last thing that registered in her mind.
Yori woke up in her room, with Nino over her the white cloth was still around his eyes and he was muttering something before looking at her.
“Please my lady, drink this.” He said giving her a vial full of blue liquid, Yori drank without hesitation.
He waved his hands up and down her body but not looking at her. she watched him work in amaze before he stopped and looked over at the door. Jun busted in, he looked dishevel, and on edge.
“What is wrong with my lady?” He asked in a calm and angry voice.
Nino looked at Yori and she had a feeling he was giving her an intense stare before turning to Jun, “She is with child.” Was all he said before leaving the room.
Yori looked after him and somehow she knew what he was trying to tell her. Jun looked down at her happily.
“You are with child?”
“It must be so.”
“I’m going to have an heir?”
“So it seems.”
“This is a joyest occasion!” Jun said grinning, “And not a moment too soon! I’ve already sent a raid to a village I believe the sword is.”
He moved to sit on the bed and put his hands on her abdomen, “Hello, my beautiful son…”
Yori cringed slightly at his words before smiling forcefully, “Yes, he is our son.”

Noriko was with Sho, and they were lying in the clearing talking and watching as the sky started to darken. “It’s weird knowing I have so much power inside me.” She said softly, “I’m not even sure how to use it.”
“You’ll learn to use it, and I’ll be with you the whole way.” Sho said softly he then inched his hand towards her and just as their fingers touched Ohno crashed through the clearing.
“Sho! Run to the village and hide! Take Noriko with you and make sure she is not see or heard…NOW GO!” Ohno said looking at them Sho sat up and pulled Noriko with him, they got to the cottage and closed the door just as soldiers came into the village.
“Sho, what’s going on.” Noriko asked in a worried tone.
“Shh.” He grabbed her hand, “I’ll keep you safe.”

Ohno walked towards the middle of the village, “What is the meaning of this?”
Aiba stood in front of him, “It is an order of the king that this village is to be searched and every woman that looks to be on the edge of adult hood shawl be taken to the kingdom for the king.”
He then snapped his fingers and they started to swarm a few soldiers shot arrows at Ohno who pulled out his twin swords and chopped the arrow in half before it could get to him.
