Noriko looked in the mirror once more before plopping down on her bed.
‘What are you doing Noriko?’ she thought as she looked over how she was dressed. a short black dress that showed off her legs and crossed in the back, along with black high heels that crossed at her ankle on the way up. Her hair was down and wavy and she had a silver heart necklace to finish her look.
‘It’s not like I want anything to happen with Jun.’ she thought getting up and walking in front of the mirror once more smoothing on her dress. ‘He’s just a friend...’
Sighing, she couldn’t believe she was going out with Jun. and on a day she should be getting her mind prepped for another long day at work. She looked in the mirror once more and jumped when she heard the door bell ring.
Noriko looked in the mirror and applied lip gloss, just to make her lips stand out more. She smiled and nodded before walking out of her bed room and pass the living room and going to the door.
She closed her eyes and swallowed when a trickling pain stung in her chest before she opened the door.
Jun stood there waiting for her, he had a white button up shirt with a black blazer over that and black dress pants. He wasn’t wearing a tie, and his hair was sticking up making it look as if he had a Mohawk.
“Ju…Jun?” Noriko looked at him stunned. He looked much younger with the hair due.
“N-Noriko-chan?” he said mocking her. He pulled out a single red rose and placed it behind her ear. The stem was cut short so that it could be placed perfectly in her hair.
“Beautiful.” He said looking her over. “Yea, I made a good decision to ask you out.”
Noriko rolled her eyes and hit him with her purse. “You’re too full of yourself.”
Jun grinned and nodded. “You know you love that about me.”
Noriko smiled and shook her head, she closed and locked her door, walking next to Jun he grabbed her arm and placed in inside his.
She blushed at the closeness, and couldn’t believe that he was being so…different tonight.

Sho got home and saw Rin was sitting on the couch, she seemed to be waiting for him.
“Sho…” She said as he walked past her towards the stairs.
He’d moved his things to the guest room. He couldn’t bear to share the bed with her anymore, knowing…always knowing …he shook his head and kept walking.
“Sho Dozo.” She called getting off of the couch.
He turned and looked down at the wooden stairs under he’s feet. He knew if he looked at her he’d feel as if he’d have to ask her again, the same question she never answered.
“Nani?” he asked still with his eyes down casted.
Rin saw how he wouldn’t look at her, “Shouldn’t…Shouldn’t we talk about this.”
Sho turned his eyes on her, “Get the divorce papers.” He said turning, “I’ll sign them.”
Rin was stunned, “Chotto!” she walked quickly over towards him.
“Nani!” he shouted.
“Sho, we need to talk about where we go from here.” Rin said determinedly, and touched his arm.
“What do you want from me Rin?” He asked turning his eyes on to hers for the first time since he stepped into the house.
“I…Just want things to be better between us.” She said, “I’m not sure how to go about it all.”
“Things between us won’t get better.” Sho said, “You didn’t even answer me when I asked if you were ever mine. I know the answer to that now.”
“Iie Sho! I was yours!” Rin yelled, “Things just became so…I never felt…”
“You never felt what? Love?” he turned and walked towards her, “I always tried to be there! I said...”
“You trying to be there is different from you actually being here!” Rin yelled, “I loved you Sho! I did, but you were always working!”
“I need to work Rin!” He yelled back, “If you truly believe everything I told you before we got married we wouldn’t be arguing now! The real problem now is the fact that you cheated Rin, and you kept cheating.”
She was quiet now.
Sho sighed, “I know it must have been hard waiting up late for me, but I always climbed into bed with you at the end of the day. At work my thoughts were of you, whenever someone came on to me I rejected them without a second thought, because you, you were always on my mind.”
“How would I know…?”
“I called you did I not?” Sho asked, “And before…all of this did I not ask you what was wrong? I gave you plenty of times to come to be before it got so bad didn’t I?”
Rin looked down, “I’m sorry.”
“For what?” He looked at her, “Cheating? Or getting caught?”
With that final thought he walked away from her and into the guest room without a second look back at his wife, who was sobbing on the stairs.

Jun walked down the street with his arm around Noriko’s waist the night was nice and pleasant.
They talked about their past in university and friends and such. Noriko was having a very good time.
“So, where do you work now?” Noriko asked letting her feet drag a bit as they walked.
Jun grinned, “I’m a Massage Therapist as you know, and I’m part of a privet practice.”
Noriko smiled, “I always thought you had magical fingers.” She said looking down at his hands.
Jun tapped the side of her waist before smiling. Noriko looked at him before looking away and sighing.
“Chotto Dou shita no?” he said looking down at her.
Noriko looked at him before looking away, “Just knowing that you’re in a relationship with a married woman, and here we are acting like a couple…” she pulled away from him. “I know you have feelings for her Jun, stop being so charming around me.”
Jun looked confused briefly and they walked back toward Noriko’s apartment in silence.
‘So much for a good night.’ She thought.
It was an interesting date to say the least. Jun had taken her out to eat at an Italian restaurant, and then he took her to a museum of contemporary art. After that they walked around under the lights of Tokyo talking. It was one of the best dates she’d ever been on.
They wound up at Noriko’s door and she couldn’t help but feel like inviting him in.
“Matsu-kun, do you want to come in for tea?” she asked when they got to her door.
Jun nodded wordlessly and walked in after her. He couldn’t really think of anything but the fact that Noriko had dressed up for him. The conversation wasn’t bad either.
‘She’s a friend.’ He thought. ‘Why am I here though?’
Noriko placed a hot cup in his hand, making Jun look up at her.
“Are you thinking about her?” She asked sitting down next to him. Jun put down his tea cup and looked at her.
He took her cup from her and placed it on the table before scooting over to her and pulling her into a kiss. Noriko had her hand bunched in her lap not sure what to do.
She listened to the voice in her head and started kissing him back. She slowly started to unbutton his shirt and Jun let his hands hike up her dress. He pulled back and looked into her eyes.
“I want you Noriko.” He said heavily, touching her cheek and looking into her eyes.
“I’m pretty sure that’s a good thing.” Noriko sighed and brought his lips crashing back on hers.
