Okay here it is the last chapter of Snowflake, I dont own anyone but Noriko...so yea...enjoy! ^^

~Chapter 10~

Noriko finally pulled away from Sho and they sat on the fountain together. He reached for her hand and laced their fingers together.

“Nande…is it so easy…around you?” he asked, looking at her, his dark brown eyes seemed to warm her very insides.

“I could…ask you the same thing Sho…” she said smiling, “demo…” she pulled her hand away. And looked at him intensely, “I have to confess something to you.”

“Nani?” He said looking at her worried.

Noriko sighed and looking away from him.

‘His eyes…it’s always his eyes that make me feel so sucked in.’ she thought trying to regain her breath.

“Sho…I need to tell you about Shin.” She said not looking at him, then wind seemed to pick up a bit and she tried to calm her shivering. “Please…wait until I’m done.”

“hai…” he said softly,

Noriko breathed out. “I’ve known…I knew…” she paused once more. “Shin…was my best friend since I was at least six years old…I loved him…as a protector, a friend…and a lover…demo…he must not have known it.”

“One thing I will always remember…When I was six years old we watched the snow fall together. I looked up at the light gray sky in wonder and said. “Shin-chan…it’s snowing….which means someone will have a miracle come true.”…He didn’t believe in miracles.” She said looking sadly at her shoes. “After his death…I stopped believing in miracles. I felt as if they were a waste of time. A childish fantasy…” She laughed humorlessly.

“iie…” Sho said softly, “I believe in miracles.”

Noriko looked at him, in disbelief.

“Hai, I do.” He said looking at her, “It was a faith in those miracles that brought me to you…time and time again.”

“Sho…”

“Iie…let me finish.” He said, “Noriko, you’ve brought something into my life that I hope no one ever takes away from me…I know I haven’t known you for so long…demo…if I lost you…”

“Don’t think like that Sho-kun.” Noriko said, “Nothing is going to happen, and if it did…I wouldn’t allow myself to part from you.”

Sho pulled Noriko close to him and kissed her on the lips. Noriko melted when she felt his soft dark pink lips press against hers. Every time Sho kissed her it was as if he were kissing her for the last time, with so much passion and love. The last word was hard for her to believe, but she felt it as his lips moved against her own. It was love…It was the only thing she could describe it as.

Noriko pulled away and Sho brushed the tears away from her eyes. She didn’t even know she was crying.

“Why are you crying?” he asked, “Is kissing me that bad?”

Noriko laughed a bit and pushed him on the arm softly.

“Iie…kissing you…is just right.” She said biting her lower lip.

Sho laughed a bit, “ano…what are you doing?”

“I’m trying to keep the feel in taste of your lips.” She said, “Just to imprint it in my memories.”

Sho grinned, “You know I have a better way of doing that.”

“How?” she asked,

Sho then put his left arm under her legs and sat her on his lap. Noriko wrapped her arms around his neck.

“I could just kiss you again.” He said gently in her ear.

“Chotto Matte…” Noriko said delicately playing with the hairs at the base of his neck, “Sho-kun…I don’t…I don’t know what we are…”

Sho looked confused, “Eh?”

“What are we to each other…” she said, “I donno…if I’m ready to…”

Sho bent her head and kissed her on the forehead, “Noriko…we are whatever you want us to be…I will be your protector, you brother…and in time possibly a lover…” he said bringing his face closer to her neck.

Noriko shivered a bit and nodded, Sho kissed her ear, then her jaw line, then her nose and finally settled on kissing her lips softly.

“Stop kissing what is mine.” An angry voice broke through their fog of each other.

“Eh?” Sho said looking at Noriko and then at the guy that was standing a few ways in front of them. Noriko turned around and saw Kenta, she tensed and hugged Sho tighter to herself.

“He’s my ex, Sho-san…the day we walked here to the park…I broke up with him, and he tired too…he tired…” she then finished in a very low whisper, “…he tried to forces himself on me.”

Sho glared at Kenta, and wrapped his arm protectively around Noriko.

“The only thing keeping me from going over there and kicking his ass is you…” Sho said in a low angry growl.

“Hai...” Noriko said, “I can feel your body tension with anger, please relax.”

Sho glared at the ground, “How can I possibly relax when he….tired to…”

“I’m okay.” She said pulling away from his neck, “I’m in your arms.”

“OI!” Kenta yelled, pulling Noriko off of Sho’s lap, “I said, get away from my girlfriend.”

Sho stood up as well, and glared at Kenta, “Take your hands off of Noriko.” He said in a calm voice laced with anger.

“I don’t answer to you.” He said grabbing Noriko’s wrist so hard she winched and cried out a little.

“Kenta, I broke up with you! I don’t love you! Let me go!” Noriko yelled trying to break away from him. She looked at Sho wanting to reach out to him but decided against it.

“Shut up! You are mine! My girlfriend, My love…MY Noriko!” he said grabbing both of her arms and making her look at him. “Get that though your head.”

Noriko kicked Kenta in the groin and ran back over to Sho when he faltered a bit.

“I am NOT your girlfriend Kenta!” She said, “…and I’m not your boss either, You’re fired!”

Kenta glared at her and the person she was with, “This is your fault.” He said crossly looking at Sho.

“Iie, it’s yours Kenta.” Noriko said looking down at him. She then noticed something in his hand. ‘iie…’ she thought, Sho was glaring at Kenta.

Kenta moved quickly aiming for Sho, Noriko turned so she was in between the two.

“Noriko…” both the guys said in shock. Sho didn’t understand, soon he felt something warm all over his hand.

“Noriko…” he said his eyes widening, looking at her face.

Kenta looked at Sho in astonishment before he fled the park. Noriko stayed in Sho’s arms, “watashi…watashi…” she breathed in, “watashi saw it…coming.”

Sho didn’t know what she was talking about. He moved away from her and saw blood falling to the ground.

“iie…iie…why did you…why did you!” He couldn’t get the words out.

“I had to save…you Sho…” She said tears were gradually falling from her eyes, “Gomen…asai…” she then fell unconscious.

“Iie…” Sho said picking her up and carrying her to the nearest hospital. The blood was covering his hands but he couldn’t remove the knife. He didn’t know what to do. When he walked into the hospital people swarmed him.

“Sho…Noriko!” Yori said looking at the pair. She was on duty cause her hospital was short staff.

“She’s been stabbed, help her…Yori! Help her!” he said losing his calm,

Yori looked at her friend before calling for a stricture and put Noriko on her side since the knife was still sticking out from her back. Blood stained the white sheets as she was rushed to the emergence room.

“CALL MIZUMI!” Yori yelled behind her as she helped with Noriko.

Sho looked at his hands and noticed blood was over them, he wiped his hands on his pants before shaking as he picking up his phone and calling Mizumi.

“Moshi Moshi.” She answered happily,

“M-Mi…Mizumi….Noriko….Noriko’s been stabbed…she’s at Yori’s hospital…” Sho got out.
Mizumi held the phone to her ear, “a..are you…”

“Hai…please come and…call the guys I…I can’t do it…” he said closing his phone.

Sho don’t know how long he waited, but soon his friends were all around him. He had his head in his hands before looking up at them.

“Has…Has…” Mizumi couldn’t talk she was hugging herself.

Sho shook his head and looked at the doors that took Noriko away.

‘Why did she do it…why…’ he thought sadly, ‘I should’ve…’

“Sho-chan, there was nothing you could’ve done don’t beat yourself up about it.” Aiba said patting him on the shoulder.

“Hai, calm down.” Jun said looking at him.

Nino stood off to the side with Ohno who held on to Mizumi.

They saw the double doors open and Yori walked out, her eyes were red and puffy she saw Aiba and throw herself into his arms.

“Yori…what…did she…” Sho asked,

Yori shook her head and continued to hold on to Aiba, crying a fresh set of tears. Mizumi started to cry as well and held on to Ohno letting the tears fall from her eyes. Nino and Jun looked down sadly, Sho just looked numbly at the floor before leaving out of the Hospital.

“Sho!” Jun was about to go after him when Nino shook his head. They both watch unable to believe this.

Sho ran back to their spot at the park. He looked at the fountain and collapsed to his knees. He placed his head on the cold stone on the fountain and his right arm and hand hovering over the light blue water and then only did he start to cry. Snow started to fall from the sky as he laid there.

Everyone was still in the waiting room of the hospital.

“Yori…how…” Mizumi couldn’t get the words out as she wiped a few more tears from her eyes.

“Her main artery aorta was punctured…we couldn’t repair the damage…” She said painfully, “She didn’t…she didn’t…” she put her face into Aiba’s shoulder once more. Aiba hugged her tighter to his form as she cried.

Sho didn’t move, he couldn’t move he was numb…so numb.

“Why…Noriko…Why…” He said closing his eyes to the tears… “Why did you leave me?”

He hear words softly reach his ear, “Because, I love you…Remember my words Sho, when the snow falls miracles come true…” She said,

Sho felt someone hug him from behind, “Let this snowfall hold your miracles…”

And in that moment it was gone. Sho sat up and looked around seeing no one he thought maybe he dreamt it. He wiped his eyes, and shook his head before lifting himself up and walked back towards the entrance to the park, but not before looking aback and seeing a faint woman standing by the fountain were he once was.

She looked up at the sky and held out her hand before looking at him and smiling and disappearing.

…Remember my words Sho...rang in his head.

he said nothing as he turned and walked away from the park.

~Epilogue~

It was a month since the episode with Noriko, and Sho sell felt the hurt and loss in everything he did, but he tired to move on because he knew that’s what she would’ve wanted for him.

Sho sighed as he walked through the snow, it was still heavy on the ground. He looked through the rows of gray stones lined with names and phases of love, he shook his head and continued to walk.

One grave stood apart, it was gray with a blue rose on the front of it. Sho walked over to the site. The grave was next to a tree and stood a little ways away from the others.

“Let the snowfall hold your miracles.”

Sho touched the head stone and laid a simple blue rose flower on her grave.

“I will…always remember you where my miracle Noriko-chan…I just wish I had more time to cherish you before you were taken from me.” He said brushing the snow of the tomb and backing away slowly not looking back fearing he’d cry.

A shimmer of a person stood on the other side of the tombstone looking at the blue rose. It was a man with dark brown eyes.

“See Shin, I told you snowflakes fall to the earth miracles happen.” Noriko said smiling brightly as she stood next to the man.

Shin just nodded and hugged her, “I know…because when it snowed…you came back to me…my loving and pure Nori-chan.”

He kissed her forehead.

It started to snow once more and soon the shimmers were gone almost as if they were the snow it’s self.

…Always remember…the snow holds miracles.
