I love everything about this, oh, gosh...! The authentic detail, haha, and Eames being infuriatingly breezy and devastatingly attractive and Arthur just trying to get by and navigate through the ridiculous trials and tribulations of his job and EAMES, and the way there's a real sense of community here--

Arthur fishes the twenty Eames just gave him out of his pocket and hands it back.

And I love this because it's really-- it's like sweeping the table clear, and it really shows how galvanized and concerned they are in the situation, and that all of the antagonism and sniping aside, when it really counts, it's about being together :D ♥

Hee, I'm glad you enjoyed this. :) In all honesty I'm really not making any effort to avoid cliches in this fic so writing Eames being incredibly irritating and Arthur being stuffy is too much fun. (re: authentic detail: yeah, how obvious is it that this story is INDULGENT BULLSHIT, haha.)

I love Arthur and Eames' dynamic in the movie and I'm trying to capture that - the mutual respect even as they irritate one another, so YAY. =DDD
