Beat dug into his own pork ramen immediately. "Ow, hot, hot!" He swallowed hard, then smiled blissfully. "Aw, man, it's like a party in my mouth!"

Playtime with Barricade (You don't have your TF listed in the sticky post, btw, and that's sort of a dirty joke when you consider the fandom jargon.)

Barricade unfolded in a series of whirrs and clicks into his protoform, revving the spinning blades on his hand, and leapt towards Bumblebee's hiding place. "Time to die, Autobot!"

Bumblebee made a passable attempt at looking startled. Then he met Barricade's attack with the blade in his forearm, ripping into the circuitry between plates of armor in Barricade's torso even as he collapsed under the larger Cybertron's body.

I like this part because I liked writing Bumblebee being sneaky. Although it was a close call between that line and:

There was a lot to be said for driving on wide, empty highways, for wind in his radiator, smooth asphalt, and a clear sky, the only sound his revving engine, his choice of music, and the rush of air. And the wail of sirens at his rear end …

Because it was this image that inspired the whole fic in the first place.

♥ this fandom. It is so terrible and yet so much fun.

NO NOT REALLY
I've been kind of =/ at the fandom because of 5.22. and floundering a little in an effort to write (I tend to write less when there are lots of goodfic I can easily find and they are EVERYWHERE right now), and CASFEST has just closed so now I'm doing matchups and I just got back from NYC! I AM OKAY REALLY ♥
