on a day made of major fail, you just gave me my first happy points. i LOVE good LOTR fic, and never find it--especially when it involves minor characters like celeborn, who i love particularly. now at least i know that when i wake up, i will have good fic to look forward to, if not anything else. Oh, interesting! I normally don't read LotR fanfiction, because my love of the series is sooo deep and abiding that I don't like my personal vision to be tarnished by cheap fandom pairing fics. But I really like the idea of Galadrial/Celeborn fanfiction... normally the fact that a pairing is canon turns me off, but with LotR canon pairings are the only ones I can support. And that first fic you recommend sounds so cool.

I will check these stories out, and thank you so much for the recommendations. *snugs*

I'm glad you're excited for some good fanfiction to read! I realized recently how hard it is to just find the good stuff these days, especially when a lot of the things I find has abided the passing of time well was written about six years ago (OHGOD HOW TIME FLIES).

For more really awesome fic you can hit up http://www.henneth-annun.net/ - anything that is 'recommended' there is generally of decent quality at least, since the public fics have to be reviewed by the members before they're released.

If you end up liking 'When First We Parted' and 'Horses and Hounds', drop me a line. I have 'Yielding', the third part of the trilogy, saved on my computer and I can e-mail it to you.
