I have to say, don't leave it there! You've completely entranced me with the interaction between the two and leave me wanting more.

I like how Shinichi is a little more hard-bitten from his time Conan but decides to impart some trust to Kid and I like how Kid shares some of his own trust. Not quite a partnership but something.

This is lovely. I always like fics where Conan is half-grownup, and this one's no exception. Kid and Conan's reactions to each iother are lovely, and I like how you didn't over-dramatise the 'HOMG HE HAS MY FACE' bit.
