I'd say that he's a terrier of some sort, but that's not terribly specific as there are like a billion types of terrier.

One of the neighbors where I used to live had a chihuahua that had huge ears like that and we nicknamed it Bat Dog.

I don't like little dogs, but this one is adorable. I love the ears. My guess would be a jack russel/chihuahua mix.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of small dogs either, usually, but he is cute.
I think he has the potential to get kinda ugly though if he's still growing.

that's what my guess was, but now I'm king of wondering if its chihuahua / jack russel.

May as well be. Jack Russel and Rat Terriers aren't all THAT different looking. The colouring is more JAck Russel though, I suppose. It's pretty impossible to tell with mixed breeds. My pup looks EXACTLY like what they say she is, and I still sometimes wonder if that's right.
