Squirt it real good with some shaving gel or cream. I did it all the time in my college days.

Haha. What for?

I'm afraid if I try to spray it with something it'll jump on my face and suck out all of my blood through my eyeballs.

Kill it! We used to do it all the time to Black Widows. It basically traps them and kills them slowly over the course of a few days. We couldn't ever kill a Black Widow with bug spray specifically for Widows, so we tried the shave gel. Worked everytime.

ah, I know it's your journal, but do you think you could put future pictures of any and all insects behind a cut with a "warning, disgusting picture of insect behind cut" warning?

That's like this guy (spider warning):

Although yours looks more menacing.

Yours looks bright and cheerful.

Mine looks like death.

Have you ever seen American Movie? The guy in it says "menancing" so whenever anyone says menacing I laugh.
If you haven't seen it, you NEED to watch it.

Yours does look like death. Spiders don't bother me, but if I saw that one lurking around, I'd be begging for my mommy.

I never saw it. In fact, I don't think I've ever even heard of it.

It's one of the funniest movies EVER.
It's actually a documentary - you can find it in the "special interests" section at Hollywood.
Hi-Larious!

Actually I would just leave it there. generally birds will come along and pluck it right out of the web. That's what happens to the ones that hang around our windows.

Uh...it'd have to be a freaking hawk to pick this thing up.

And birds are illegal in my neighborhood anyway.
