Mary had been roused early from her bed that morning for the same reason that Ingram, and sleep had been kept from her while she rolled facts around in her head. Kingslayer, still alive. Damaris Vordane, crusader and beloved cousin of the man who'd had more impact on her own life than she'd like to believe. As soon as she thought she'd squared away her feeling about Signius, this morning happened. She couldn't help by have a feeling of disquiet about all parts of the duel; first, that it happened, second, that the two of them had been pushed in what would've been to their deaths, and third, that the two of them would've spent their last moments alive locked in a kiss.
Perhaps that's what the Vordane family - she purged that bitter thought from her head, shifting the blame again to the Kingslayer. He was an admittedly easy target, but the thought of Damaris being... intimate with the man who most decidedly murdered their king was overwhelming and somewhat sickening

The sound of blows striking one of the training dummies was a familiar sound, one Ingram easily recalled from childhood. Still, it meant someone was staying up late to practice. Or perhaps more likely, someone couldn't sleep either.
Ingram turned the corner and looked inside. Ah, it was the woman who had walked in on the duel this morning.
He slipped inside. Best to make sure she wasn't fussing over things out of her control. Swordsman class adventurers were ever that type, all about justice and whatnot. But he wouldn't disturb her training directly, just simply take up a seat in her sight so she knew he was there.
Mary didn't notice Ingram immediately, lunging forward to land another powerful blow on the training dummy in front of her. She looked up from her most recent strike as an afterthought and caught sight of the high priest. She hadn't exactly expected him, or anyone, really.
She took a few steps back and looked at Ingram, breathing heavy from her work out and wiping the sweat from her forehead with the back of her free hand. It was best that she took a break anyway, pushing herself too hard would just make her sore without benefit.
"Is that how you normally settle problems in this guild?" Mary asked the high priest coolly.
Ingram sighed and shrugged. He didn't mind telling her this much, anyways.
"Even as a priest with the Valkyrie's blessing, I don't have much physical ability with which to deal with most adventurers, so I take what opportunities that crop up as necessity dictates. And asking someone else to discipline them would only undermine my own authority. Besides.
I wouldn't have shoved them off if I didn't have the recall spell."
