Signius was quick enough to use his sword as leverage so that he didn't fall over in surprise. Last time he was on the ship, though he'd been drawn out of his bunk and onto the deck. This time he had been nearly mid-swing before he was drawn back.

"Kaite wasn't with us, Ingram. What are you trying to imply?"

Ohho, is he grinning?
