First, a couple of links:

Remember the awesome Rafael Albequerque cover to Superboy #1? I found out who owns the original art! It's Jeff Lemire:

"I've no time to coddle your neuroses!" is a phrase to remember and to use as much as possible, lol.

Good luck with #5! You deserve an adorable, devoted and domestic escape artist who's willing to wear an apron in your life! You also deserve a Battle Bikini!

I want it printed on a t-shirt! Preferably with an imposing image of Barda to illustrate the point.

Aww, thank you very much :D According to Mark Evanier's essays in the back of the Fourth World Omnibus, the Scott/Barda dynamic was largely based on the relationship Jack Kirby had with his wife Roz. That makes me happy.

Perhaps obtaining a Battle Bikini will help me to obtain my own Mister Miracle... *plots*

stuuuupid Brandon arrrgh (No, it's true. None of my exes are cool enough to be Lucas Lee. I think Jake could be Todd Ingram (anger issues, lived with vegans), but I can't think of any other obvious parallels.) I just deleted Brandon's message without replying, so I hope he got the hint.

Also gdi Scott and Barda are so cute

OMG, IKR?

Big Barda is definitely someone to think of when exercising! I will have to remember that. *determined look*

Is the Scott Free and Barda stuff collected in a trade at all? I suppose that is too much to ask for...

*hugs* I sorry your ex-boyfriends are being so stupid! *glares at them* *hugs you again*

You actually have a couple of options for collected editions of Mister Miracle! I scanned the first four images from the Fourth World Omnibus, which includes all of Jack Kirby's Fourth World series. You get The New Gods, Forever People, and Superman's Pal, Jimmy Olsen along with Mister Miracle. Each series can be read separately, but they form this gorgeous tapestry of a story when read together. The omnibus are kind of expensive, but they're super-nice and come with a lot of extras. You can usually get a pretty good discount on them from Amazon ( ... )

Oooh, thanks for the info! I'll have to look for the Showcase ones next time I'm in the comic book shop...

...I have just one problem. I've completely run out of space for comics! What am I going to do, Wake?????

Apart from that trauma, I'm okay! Busy, but okay. :)
