Another late comment, but which issues were the ones with Blatt and Grodd? I kinda need to find these to show my friends that, no, I'm not kidding.

Those scans are from Secret Origins #41! I can see how your friends might require proof that there was really a comic about a guy's sentient musical note...

I was trying to explain Pipster to my alpha (its like bacon with eggs, like toast with jelly!), and also get them to understand that since I have no pockets in my one costume, the most logical choice is to make a bag shaped like a giant eighth note. I tried finding your post, but I was at a friend's house, so it wasn't in the bookmarks. I have a feeling that they'd think it was some elaborate hoax if they saw it online anyway. They're not really comic fans/readers of the 80s/90s/Nows. They don't get Silver Age. My best course of action? Buy the comic! (That and the Blue Beetle one. See guys? He's not a new character!)

I now realize, after coming back to this post to reply, that you did say where this is from. I think I got confused by the different middle panels, pretty as they are.
