Personally, it was only my fourth or fifth day of high school when 9/11 went down, so I did feel all the grief, fear, sorrow, and panic - probably partly because it was a crappy event piled on top of already crappy adolescent emotions. Hearing your story kinda makes me want to beat up the kids at your old school though. o.O

I'm not a good patriot either... But CA forever! I believe I will always be more proud to be a California Girl than I will of being an American. :D
