Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

This film was a pretty important deal for me, as far as the HP films go. Half-Blood Prince is one of my favorites of the books, (definitely in the top 2) and not only that, but The Ollivander Children is set during Book 6. I attribute it to Alan Rickman's Snape not once losing his cool.

Rickman's Snape has never lost his cool, not once. The closest he came was way back in the first movie when Hermione set his cloak on fire. It seems everyone in the movies is so enamoured of the way he does 'controlled Snape' that they've decided 'controlled Snape' is all we'll get. And that really annoys and frustrates me, because Rickman does raving lunatic REALLY REALLY well (for those who don't know what I mean, see Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves) and they're wasting him.

I hate it when movies waste actors. :( Well, one thing you can say about these movies, they aren't wasting Helena Bonham Carter.
