I read it twice through this summer. In a row. And I cried lots. Have you seen the movie yet? I still haven't seen it...

I haven't... I am about to start the third book but I have $80 to hold me to next friday and I don't think it's responsible to buy a book with some of that money.... but I really want to!!! I would probably finish it by tomorrow if I bought it tonight... then maybe I could return it??? haha

I just can't figure out why you would like it so much! It was one of the most poorly written books I've ever read! And the so-called "relationship" is supposed to be what true love is but what it is really is an overbearing, controlling, "subtle" abstinence inspiring relationship.

Lol, I really, really hate this series.

why not check it out at the library if you're short on cash? You can always buy your own copy later =)

I myself have never picked up one of those books. I'm curious though b/c I've heard of so many people who are obsessed..

I've read the first two books and it's just impossible to put the books down, even though it's not necessarily quality reading, and they're not exactly written well either. Sometimes we just need some escapism! Have you seen the movie?

no but I really want to!!! I've heard that it's corny and the girl who plays bella isn't great... I was hesitant at first because I've made the story so amazing in my head, I just don't want to be disappointed. I think that the "lack of quality" leaves more room for the imagination to step in... and mine has been running wild! haha

haha... I am ready for the fourth book (I made myself wait until after finals to read it... since I read the entire third book last sunday instead of studying...)... and I had my last final today so yay! I am gonna read it this weekend! I am kinda sad for it to be over though... :/

It is definitely corny, and the acting isn't wonderful, but it's actually cast pretty well, and if you love the books it's not so bad. I've heard it's better if you watch it twice, which I have yet to do. I totally understand what you mean about not wanting to ruin the story you've made in your head, because I wouldn't watch the Harry Potter movies for the longest time for that exact reason!

Wow good job holding off! I actually just bought the third and fourth books for my friend as a Christmas gift, and when she's done with them I'm going to steal them and read them. :-) Best gift ever huh? Haha. Are there going to be any more Twilight books though?

nope. I don't think so.

I saw the movie and was laughing the ENTIRE time... I really didn't like it. It was so.... I can't even describe it, but I didn't like it. It was like watching a high school play, with bad music and weird camera angles.... in my opinion.

I am halfway through the fourth book and all I have to say is HOLY SHIT
