Spoilers and whether to avoid them or not

I'm not a spoiler-phobe, but I usually only actively seek spoilers for things I am (or have been) actively interested in, like Buffy & Angel, some books, and some other tv series. Harry Potter, however, is not one my active interests, and though I probably wouldn't be totally scarred for life (slight exaggeration here) if I knew what happens in
