That seems to be common among Johnny's (and possibly Japanese people in general, but my sample is mostly Johnny's), the "I'm terribly sorry I got hurt/sick and caused you all trouble" attitude. When they can, they keep performing anyway, and when they can't, they apologize profusely and feel guilty about it. (I wouldn't be surprised if Higashiyama is particularly hardcore about it, but still, some degree of that seems quite common.)

I wonder if tiny Ryo performing Secret Agent Man will ever stop being hilarious... XD

No, it never will. I also found a blonde rebel Ryo performance of the song at SC on YT. Even better... XD (a part of a medley, but still :D)

I know squat about J-pop (apart from the obvious)... but that Secret Agent Man clip is LOL!, LOL!, LOL! forever. XD I would not have recognised Ryo if you had not told who that tiny tot is.

ahahaha i've watched that secret agent man performance before but i had forgotten about that part where ryo jumps up on higashi's shoulders. i just woke up, so i was yawning while watching, and just almost kinda choked/coughed on my yawn while laughing o___0

andalucia from 03-04 remains my fave everrrrr pimp tsubasa^^;;;

Yes, Tsubasa was fantastic in it. The Dance Kings! Random Johnny's popping up everywhere XD! It really is my favourite performance of Andalucia ♥!
