I had been reading good things about Boss, but about 15 minutes into the first episode completely convinced me that this is going to be awesome :). I really like police dramas, especially ones with a group of misfits thrown together ( Read more... )

YAY! I have been following "Boss" and loving it - I LOVE Takenouchi Yutaka's character, it is very refreshing to see a famous actor in such a role. And he makes it his own!

YES! Takenouchi's character is such a weasel :D! It's hilarious to see him try to hit on all women, and I LOVED episode 4 'children's crime prevention play' where he kept saying "It's an FBI thing." when things started to go wrong. Hilarious!!!

I've just marathoned through all 4 subbed episodes and I love the show!!! And I just know you will end up making an epic pimp post about this drama once you have watched it XD...

It's even got Kichise Michiko as the crime lab boss and Mizobata Junpei as a perky young detective who mostly reminds me of an over-eager puppy in it. The cast is stellar and the stories are great. And the boss lady is AWESOME!!!

More temptation: the gay cop takes his ossan colleague and the young puppy guy into a gay bar after promising they'll meet some young people... XD

Boss is really good. I even have started to watch it RAW, because it is so hilarious.
And Takenouchi Yutaka's character Nodate is so cool and a total coward, and apparently can't get a date on his own as he is always asking for a goukkon. :)

I just finished marathoning through the 4 subbed eps and it is hilarious!!! The "crime prevention play" in the beginning of episode 4 almost had me falling off my chair, because I was laughing so hard when it started to go wrong XD. "It's a zombie! Kill it!" *dies*

And yes, Nodate is such a womanizing weasel! It's amusing to watch his attempts at flirting and Osawa's EWWWW faces when he talks about how awesome he is XD.
