Takki & Ryo together in a Summer drama?

OMG! There are rumours of a possible Summer drama starring Takki and Ryo, where Takki would play an evil character and Ryo would play a high school teacher. dalöjsfdlöasjlöfajsdöl I SO HOPE THIS RUMOUR TURNS OUT TO BE TRUE!!!! It's been ages since Takki last appeared in a regular drama instead of all those drama specials

I'm very skeptical of this rumor for a number of reasons, and I'm not sure if I want it to be true or not, but I'd definitely like to see Takki in some kind of drama, even if it's not this one. It seems like such a waste that he hasn't been in one in such a long time.

Yes, I know it's just a rumour, but I can't help wanting it to be true. I agree that it's such a waste that Takki hasn't had any real dramas in several years :(. Then again, his Summer solo concerts coincide with the timing, since he'll be touring from mid-June to mid-July.

He hasn't had a real drama since 2003, which is really a shame since he's actually good. It's theoretically possible to do a drama while having a concert tour (I remember that Nino and Ryo both did it for Ryuusei no Kizuna), but probably not with solo concerts. Maybe in the fall?

(Though I think it might be just as well if he's not in this particular drama, since didn't he get some backlash for playing a bad guy in Taiyou no Kisetsu? I've only heard vague rumors about that, but if it's even remotely true, I can't imagine he'd play another character like that.)

Yes, I agree with you. Almost from the start my assessment of T&T has been that Tsubasa is the better singer & dancer, while Takki better at acting, and prettier and more "flashy" in general :). But yes, I miss his acting!

I think Ryo acted in RnK while Eito was touring, so it probably wouldn't be impossible for Takki to act in a drama the same time he was touring. Especially since there don't seem to be that many venues in his schedule.

I don't really know that much about it, since I entered the fandom only later, but his character in TnK was pretty ambivalent and wavered between villanous and likable.

I've seen the drama, and I think the writing was very uneven and the characters appeared unstable as a result. One moment Takki's character has reformed himself and the next he's back to being a self-involved jerk :/.

I finished it for the eye-candy alone, since the drama is FULL of fanservicy scenes (Takki shirtless, with wet shirt, angsting in a shower, etc etc etc :D).
