I guess it's time to do another reading post. I notice that I'm often just too tired to write anything coherent about my reading after I get work, so the pile of books tends to grow larger and larger until I get my next free day and have time and energy to do another reading post ( Read more... )

books, manga, patricia briggs, fma, samurai deeper kyo, romance, her majesty's dog, eileen wilks, books08, reading

I've always figured Yuya had a pretty good idea that there was a lot more to Benitora than there seems to be, but acts like she doesn't know because he doesn't want her to. Let's face it, she may be out of her league as far as all the action and such goes, but she's no idiot, and people aren't exactly good at keeping it a secret.

Keeping up with the FMA manga scanslations...there is so muych awesome coming.

I really need to catch up with Her Majesty's Dog.

Yes, I agree that Yuya isn't really stupid, though she may act willfully ignorant at times. I like the point about her ignoring Tora's real identity because he wants her to remain in ignorance of it!

FMA: Sounds good :).

HMD (I still keep having the urge to write Her Majesty's Dragon *every time* I write that title...) has been really enjoyable.

I loved the Kyo/Yukimura fight! Of course I see plenty of subtext there ... . What did you think of Akari's encounter with Hishigi?
