Hana Kimi (J)

I was rewatching the NEWS DVD earlier today, and I just can't get over how entertaining it is to watch a documentary lasting about 24 minutes which consists mainly of six young guys eating different foods and telling the camera that the foods are tasty or delicious... "Umai! Oishii! Umai! Oishii!..." I just can't get those exclamations out of my ( Read more... )

I usually think that watching people eat is boring (is the "food show" compulsory?? XDD)
But NEWS were funny. :D Tegoshi+ Yamapi with their "Umai + Oishii~" XD The Shige feeding (poor Shige) and Shige getting a car instead of food.. XDD
Plus.. it's nice to see them interacting like that as a group and seeming so relaxed :D

Aaah.. watching so many eps…. :D You like the Taiwanese version more??? I originally thought that I might watch it, but didn't get down to it, and I'd rather watch it in Japanese..
The story is better?? Or??

Nakatsu is THE BEST!!! I definitely agree that Toma's performance stands out the most. I find the other two main characters a little too bland (I'm not really interested in them, so I just let them go)

Wow.. didn't know that about AnAn. XD

Ah, didn't pay attention to the pointy finger thing. XD

I thought it was funny.. Nakatsu= best friend (awww..), Sano = father. XD

Hotties are Japan's asset? I think my reaction was "????" and young boys can’t be hotties yet! XDBut then when you think how many foreign ( ... )

I think I liked the Taiwanese version, because it's total crack and I think I prefer how OTT it is at times. The Japanese version seems just a bit bland at times and Maki and Shun just aren't as much fun as Ella and Wu Chun. The Nakatsu character is really good in both versions, though.

And on a completely shallow level, the guys in the tw-version are more to my taste than the skinny, almost anorexic looking Japanese boys... Which is another reason I was laughing about the comment of hotties being Japan's asset. Oh, I have my favourites, but even with them I think they could benefit of a few more kilos :P.

The Taiwanese version is even more crack?? Wow.. I thought the Japanese was crack enough.
ALthough yes.. I can imagine the taiwanese counterparts being a little more interesting...

Aha... *nods* Same here. If they don't grow a bit more, I see them as skinny little boys. XD
Tennouji has built good muscles though. :D
