And now we come to the end... I'm watching it raw with a translated script on the side because I couldn't wait for the hardsubbed version of the episode. Since this is the last episode, you can also expect a lot of screencaps, with some gratuitous shots of all the leads :). I can tell you that this time I went completely crazy and took about a gazillion screencaps though I only included a portion of them in this post...
Huh?! Domyouji isn't in the hospital anymore when Makino goes to visit him. The F3 arrive there, too, and it seems they are as surprised to find Tsukasa missing.
Tsubaki is talking with Darth Kaede on the phone, and Kaede is gloating over the fact that Tsukasa can't remember Makino at all. According to the script it seems she intends to take advantage of the situation and make Tsukasa pay for defying her (again) :P. What a witch! Tsubaki looks understandably annoyed at her after she hangs up the phone.
The F3 suggest to Makino that they go to Tsukasa's place to find out what is going on. And there they go, in Rui's awesome white car :).
Aww, Makino is hopefully clutching the Saturn necklace outside Domyouji's door. Maybe he has finally remembered her?
But when she's about to open the door, who do we see - that backstabbing bitch Umi (Grrr! I'm starting to hate her more every time I see her.) acting like she's completely at home at Tsukasa's place, even welcoming Makino in.
And he still can't remember her and acts very irritated to see her and even talks of her as Rui's girl. Boo! But Makino has had it and gets extremely mad at him.
But the hated Umi interrupts and asks to talk to Makino, and apparently asks her not to come to Tsukasa's place anymore because he always gets so irritated when she comes to visit. WTF! SHUT UP, BITCH! *restrains self from hitting computer* And she's chatting with Tsukasa and acting very domestic with him while poor Makino has to stand there and see it all. GRRRR! I'm so angry now! *digs up a supply of rusty forks to stab her with*
Argh, this is making me cry! Makino starts crying when she sees him act so casually with Umi while he treats her as the complete stranger. *sniff*
Domyouji looks distressed when he sees her crying, and then she takes the Saturn necklace off her neck and throws it at him. It seems she has had enough and can't take the situation anymore.
When talking with the F3 and Yuki, she tells them that she's giving up, and also about how the that hated Umi had lied to Domyouji. I love how Yuki is immediately ready to rush out to defend Makino. She, well they all, are such great friends to Makino and a constant source of support for her.
Heh, it's amusing how everybody else is sitting around a table, but Rui is, as usual, drinking tea and lounging in a chair in the background :).
Love the silver boots *g*. They are so MatsuJun. Go completely with the sparkly nail polish he wears :D.
Domyouji is fingering the Saturn necklace and talking with the hated Umi (yes, will call her with this name as much as possible :P) that he was bothered by Makino's tears and wonders why seeing her cry bothers him so much. But the backstabby bitch tries to turn his attention to her by throwing a fake crying fit over how he's thinking of another girl while she's there.
KILL HER ALREADY! *starts throwing virtual daggers at her* I'm actually growling here, I hate her so much! I'm having huge difficulty not to start throwing things at my computer or to start hitting things :P.

LOL, did anybody else notice Oguri Shun and Abe Tsuyoshi goofing around in the background while Makino was speaking around 9:40 - 9:44? I guess I noticed because having no subtitles, I'm paying more attention to what is going on on the screen :). (OS snaps at AT and in response AT taps him on the cheek)
Then Domyouji arrives there and he has the hated Umi with him. GRRR! Rui looks rather angry to see her as well and immediately leaves the scene. Akira is also asking Tsukasa why he had to bring the annoying girl with him. She's like a leech who won't let go of him and keeps following him everywhere :P.
Heh, Makino is raving about the situation at the hot spring, but then that hated bitch is there as well. It seems poor Makino can't get rid of her wherever she goes. And then she tells Makino that she's in love with Domyouji now! GRRR! I wouldn't blame Makino at all, if she suddenly took advantage of the situation and drowned that horrid bitch in the spring... But, unfortunately, she's too nice to anything like that :(.
Hee, I love how protective the F3 are of Makino and Tsukasa. Akira and Soujiroh are planning to drive the hated Umi away, but Rui tells them that they won't have to do anything, because Tsukasa is sure to snap out of it sometime soon. He believes in the bond between the two, since it has already been through so much.
In the hotel, Domyouji is asking Makino why she hasn't visited him lately, and she replies that it was he who told her to leave. He asks if she knows something he doesn't and she says yes, but it would be meaningless if she told it to him. (taken from the script)
After "Love So Sweet", we see Tsukasa gripping the Saturn necklace and clearly trying his best to try to remember what it is that he has forgotten. But he only gets annoyed because it's not getting him anywhere.
Then the backstabby bitch is there and is offering him cookies she baked. But when he tastes one, he immediately detects that they are not the same as the cookies he had at the hospital and remembered tasting of love. So he knows Umi is not the one he was in love with before. MatsuJun has such an expressive face and he does an excellent job in this scene: you can see exactly the moment Tsukasa realizes the truth.
He throws away the cookies the hated Umi brought him and confronts her about her lies. She still tries to save the situation, but he isn't buying the act anymore now that he knows she was lying to him.
I think there is a very basic core of integrity and honesty about Tsukasa - he himself is always so upfront about his feelings and actions that he hates deception. And he must have faced lots of deception and toadying up to him, just because of who he is.
Just like when he said that he would never forgive his mother for the plot to trick him with Ken's alleged suicide, I suspect the moment he discovered Umi's deception, she lost any chance she might have ever had with him. And there never really wasn't even any real chance, since the moment he got his memory back he would have gone after Makino.
GRRR, then the hateful bitch sends Makino out into the raging snowstorm saying Yuki is somewhere out there. I HOPE UMI WOULD GO OUT TO WONDER IN A SNOWSTORM AND FREEZE TO DEATH! GAH!
When Yuki comes to the dining hall from the hot springs, the F3 start worrying about where Makino is. When Umi tries to quietly leave the room, Rui immediately guesses that she has done something and stops her. He asks he what does she know and Yuki is also telling her to give any information she might have.
The hated Umi finally tells everybody that Makino might be lost in the snowstorm, because she sent her there. Ooh, Rui can be very intimidating when he gets angry!
But when Domyouji hears about this, even though he still doesn't remember Makino, I love how he immediately rushes out to her rescue, vaulting over tables and chairs and everything that gets in his way!! *GLEEEEE!*
Poor Makino is freezing in the ground and is dreaming of being a successful lawyer and of her family living happily in a big house and of getting married to Tsukasa. And just at that moment he finds her. Heeee! He's so worried about her and does his best to save her. It really is built in his "NBA" genes to look after Makino, even though he can't remember her.
It's typically horrid of Kaede that when she hears that Tsukasa is lost in a snowstorm, the only thing she can do is rant about the fact that he's lost with Makino. She really is such a horrible mother.
But I loved how *Ken* came to Kaede's office to talk on behalf of Tsukasa and to ask her to arrange for a search-and-rescue party sent after Tsukasa and Tsukushi. Ken tells her that Domyouji knows about the deception Kaede arranged, but when he confronted Ken, he was only worried that his family was fine and crying in happiness to see that Ken was alive after all. The old, pre-Makino Domyouji would have probably beaten the living daylights out of him... But he has mellowed a lot after meeting Makino.
Poor Domyouji is shivering and completely freezing in the cabin he found, because he piled all possible clothing on Makino to warm her up. I love how this scene is a repetition of what happened in Season 1 and that is the reason why he finally remembers her. You can just see the moment it all starts comes back to him and especially when he finally remembers Makino. YES!!! (And now I'm crying and grinning madly at the same time!) There's such a look of relief on his face. LOVE THIS SCENE!
EEE, he reaches into his pocket and pulls out the Saturn necklace and gives it back to her! And there's hugging and closeness and hair stroking and I'm getting incoherent, but this is wonderful! (I also took way too many screencaps, but I'm posting only a few of them...)

But this scene made me so happy. I also liked how they were both back to their bickering selves the next day when the rescuers barge into the cabin. Though I have to say I love how they are both still bound together by the neckscarf :).
Heh, loved Soujiroh's pat on Yuki's head after she started crying when told that Makino and Tsukasa were found and were ok.
Me to Umi: Go drown yourself now, nobody cares about you or wants to see you anymore! Hee! Love how Rui told her that nobody would forgive her just because she was crying. So true!
Heh, the news are full about the rescue and speculation about a forthcoming marriage between Domyouji and Makino. Then Makino sees a news item in the paper about the old man she stopped from committing suicide and it seems his invention was a ground-breaking discovery after all.
The next time we see him in negotiations with Darth Kaede and he says that he's willing to make a deal if the news about the marriage between Tsukasa and Tsukushi is true. Love the look on the evil witch's face when she hears this :D. She looks like she's bitten a lemon.
But she has no choice than to accept the situation if she wants to save Domyouji Group. So she's forced to ask Tsukasa to come back, she even says she'll leave Domyouji Group in his hands if he does that. But I loved the way he agreed to come back only if he Nishida rehired by the company.
Then when he meets Tsubaki, he tells her that he intends to go to New York immediately, because he wants to talk to the Ohkawahara (or however you spell it) Group about a business deal even though the planned marriage between him and Shigeru fell through. He really is growing up and acting in a more adult and mature way and I love how Tsubaki is cheering him on.
Heh heh, that is so typical! Makino's family's car is stuck in mud and she's late for the Prom at Eitoku. The whole family goes to push the car - but where the heck did the hated Umi pop up from to help in the pushing?! When the car moves, both are, of course, completely mud-splattered.
LOL, love how the F3 are lounging on the doorway waiting for both Makino and Domyouji while the Prom attendants keep on coming in. Then, heeee! It's Shizuka! I love the happy look on Rui's face when he notices her. There is still hope that they'll end up together after all.
Heh, now Makino is forced to run for the Prom, because her dad's car ran out of gas. She really is having everything go against her!
I love how they are bringing all the familiar faces from both series together into the final episode. Now there's an apperance by the crazy psycho Sakurako! Hee! And, of course, the infamous Eitoku three, as bitchy as ever.
Then Domyouji is there. In the most hideous gold suit, though it's so totally Domyouji :D... And Shigeru is with him. I love how worried Akira and Soujiroh both get when they see the two of them together (Random observation: for quite a lot of time, both of the characters seemed to be around only to do their "WTF?!" or "Eh?!" faces :)).
Poor Makino is still running on the street, when OMG! there's Kaede and Nishida! While at the school, Domyouji hears that Makino hasn't arrived yet and everybody is getting worried where she is. (But that suit!!! It's hilariously horrible!)
Then Kaede is offering Makino a ride - she probably has to at least pretend to aid her if she wants to save her company. Hee! And Toma is there, too, cheering Makino on. Great reunion for all the characters!
But when Makino finally gets to the school, it's already dark and people are taking down the billboards. Still, she runs in, only to find a dark and empty hall. But then there's Domyouji, who is yelling at her that she's late. Only a jpop star like MatsuJun could strut convincingly like that in the hideous suit he's wearing *g*.
Love the proposal!!!! And I'm completely bawling here, while at the same time grinning so widely that my face is starting to hurt.
And the hall wasn't empty after all, quite the opposite. And the crowd goes wild when he lifts Makino up on his arms :D. Gotta admire Domyouji's confidence for proposing in front of that huge crowd! He asked everyone to wait behind because it's the one and only proposal he'll ever make. AWWWWW!
Loved the dancing with everyone (Ooh, Soujiroh!!! - he had the best moves - And Rui! - loved how he lifted Makino in the air)...
And the way Tsukasa mangled asking for Makino's hand from her father, so typical :D...
And the appearance by the twins and Akira's mother...
And the scene where Yuki asked for a ride from Soujiroh and he just smiled and said that he hadn't another helmet with him, but maybe next time... Yuki's surprised look at his words was wonderful...
And the scene where Rui gave his violin to the little girl...
And Makino being late to a meeting with Tsukasa on the plaza and them arguing and ESPECIALLY the way she grabbed his scarf and dragged him down for a kiss! Hee! I totally loved how the kiss mirrored the one at the end of Season 1, with the sun behind Tsukasa and Tsukushi.
TOTAL LOVE! What a wonderful ride this was. This series moves easily into one of my favourite doramas ever. LOVELOVELOVELOVE!

And Makino being late to a meeting with Tsukasa on the plaza and them arguing and ESPECIALLY the way she grabbed his scarf and dragged him down for a kiss! Hee! I totally loved how the kiss mirrored the one at the end of Season 1, with the sun behind Tsukasa and Tsukushi.
TOTAL LOVE! What a wonderful ride this was. This series moves easily into one of my favourite doramas ever. LOVELOVELOVELOVE!
