So you've watched Curse of the Golden Flower! :) How did you like it? I thought, too, that the youngest Prince was such a fool. It really surprised me aswell, that he wanted to overthrow his father.

As for Confession of Pain, it's too bad that it doesn't seem that good. I was very much looking forward to it. I already have Infernal Affairs but haven't had time to watch it yet ^^

I liked Curse of the Golden Flower very much! I really must go to see it again on the big screen once it premieres here sometime next Autumn!

Confession of Pain was good, but not excellent. I've seen better movies with similar plots. Takeshi Kaneshiro was beautiful as always. But, plotwise, Infernal Affairs is so much better!

Oh, I'm watching Curse of the Golden Flower right now, because of dangermousie's rave and then because I saw you mentioning it again.

And now I have spoiled myself! (but I was wondering whether they really were brother and sister, I'm just up to the point where the family of the doctor is being sent away)

It's a very beautiful film, visually. I hope your viewing wasn't spoiled too much by the spoilers.
