Hehe, the girl gamers LJ community linked to a SquareEnix preview page for it a week or two ago and I was praying they'd release at the very least an english-translated version for the US so I could swipe a copy.
I'm going to assume that they won't release it PAL (the bastards) but it's OK, at least DSes aren't region-locked.
