Oh, this is so great. The Dean/Ruby stuff is DELICIOUS -- and I've never even given much thought to their relationship before -- and all the voices are just spot-fucking-on. I could quote all the lines I loved, but that would take quite a while. Though, this one is particularly amusing:

“Dude,” Dean croaks. “What did I tell you about watching people when they slept?”

Sam’s face breaks into a smile. “Save it for the creepy pedophilic vampires?”

Super happy you liked this, thank you! IDEK what it is about Dean/Ruby. I hated the idea the first time I came across it, but then the more I thought about it, the more it made sense, and I kind of fell in love with it. OTP OTP ALERT No, just kidding. ;)

You are SO welcome; I had a ton of fun writing it! It kind of got away from me. :) I'm really glad you like it, because the whole time I was writing it I was all, SELF, WHAT IS THIS THIS IS NOT THE PROMPT (aaaand obviously disregarded that because RUBYYY). But in the end I think it sort of worked.
I think I might even do a sequel with an inversion (set in S5 w/S3 flashback), because I liked writing this so much, but we'll see.
