I used to write a technology blog & still scan the RSS feeds of some of them like a watchful cat. Sometimes I see things that don't exactly fit some communities or would be lost among other content so I created a community to address & collect topics related to social networks, technology hacks and news related to Vidding. I'm not saying every single aspect of vidding is covered by a community somewhere, so we should just stop trying, but repeat communities are not really a way to focus our efforts, I think. Perhaps refocussing the community's aim?

I don't begrudge anyone joining the community that you link to in your comment or look to compete with it (and can't given it's format of crowd sourcing). It's a great resource and I think people will be able to decide for themselves whether this community is worth their time or not to watch. If people find it useful they can join, watch, track and if they don't they won't. I am not forcing you or anyone to join. I'm just making a new community announcement. If this community is mean to languish in inactivity then I am sure that will naturally happen on its own and worse comes to worse I'll delete it but so far I enjoy working on it.
