That's dookie. That is so fucked up. UGH. HOW is that legal? How can Great American take over Tower's inventory without also paying their outstanding debts?

yeah, apparantly they have no responsibility towards that, since Tower filed for bankruptcy. tricky tricky!

Taylor has been tireless and diligente in trying to track down answers, and someone finally told him he could file a request with the court, which he did.

The shitty thing is, that we sold them that stuff BEFORE they went bankrupt but they knew it was going to happen. so they just sleazed their way into including us in all that. they knowingly did it, which sucks.

Well that's bullshit. I don't think I've ever bought anything from Tower, but that wasn't purposeful, just, you know, how it worked out, but now I'm glad they never got any of my money. What jerkfaces. What possible point could there be in buying up a bunch of copies of a zine if you KNOW you're going bankrupt? Or, really, what's the point in buying more stock of anything, if you absolutely know you're going bankrupt? If you know you're going bankrupt, like - you know bankruptcy is a sure thing, then all that extra stock isn't going to help you out, so it's really just a dick move that fucks over all the littler people who sold you the stock and expected to get paid for it. GRRRRR! I'm so mad about this, and I'm just more mad since it happened to people I know. Doodoo. Maybe some crafting will help.
