It would also be interesting to have a way to link the vid to commentaries such as those done in this community, or places it's been featured, such as con playlists or [info]bradcpu's ridiculously awesome interview series. Ability to upload alternate audio tracks for commentaries would be neat.

I've probably already said this sufficiently, but just in case... I would have absolutely no problem at ALL with you making a Terminator vid to DLZ! I'm not one of those vidders that is possessive about songs--it's an incredible, dense piece of music that is a joy to vid and I'd be very interested to see what another vidder made of it. I do totally understand that sometimes once you've seen something vidded it's hard to shake that from your mind though. That happens for me too.

One question I have for you as you mention having entered vids in competitions and I've always meant to ask people this: do you think competitions helped you improve as a vidder at all? (Just curious!)
