if this TV represents emotion-filled memories and it exists in the real world then the meaning is fairly clear. This vid is about the relationship between our feelings and experiences of this show and our everyday life.

So when we hear "When I walk beside her, I am a better man" it is important that it works both on the show level - Mal, Book, the family and their relationship to the ship Serenity but also on another level which is our experience of this and what it means to us. The Show is the Sun just like Serenity is a shining light, a firefly, in the show.

Bravo -- this is so cleanly-articulated that reading it makes me feel like I'm watching and enjoying the vid all over again.
