So, I saw CrashUm, that's it. There's nothing I can really say to follow up with that. Except that I think it should be required viewing for the human race; and it was also very awkward to run into an old friend and then sit through two hours of intense filmmaking ( Read more... )

i saw it at the oriental in milwaukee with ashley hauch and crystal iverson. we were so tense during the movie we laughed at horribly inappropriate times. we were bummed after it too, cause you can't go party after a movie like that. we just drove home and thought. it was a really good movie. i basically yelled from my rooftop that everyone had to see it. seeing it should be a requirement to graduate high school.

You've intrigued me--but I don't think it's playing anywhere near here. I'll check though.

You should definitely check. I think it's worth it.

So, I still haven't seen Amores Perros. But before you flip out at me (because you ALWAYS tell me what a good movie it is), I'll go rent it later today. So I'll make a more informed comment on that later.

And Lisa, I will forever be sad that I won't be with you in Boston this fall. (like, seriously)

Wow, your viewing of that movie is delayed. It came out a long ime ago, didn't it?

But yeah, I loved it. I went to see it because a) Sandra bullock is my favorite actress and b) Ryan Phillippe is hotttttttt. Afterwards, I wanted to kick myself, because I kept noticing all the little things I do that are prejudiced, like sitting on the bench that's empty instead of the one that's partly occupied by a black homeless man, etc.

It's an excellent movie. I'll buy it on DVD as soon as it comes out. :-)

Yeah, it did... but it came to the theatre that I work at, so I got in free. I hadn't had the chance to see it before.

Ughhh I kept noticing the same thing! Like how I'm bitchy to people who mumble, and I usually expect black people to... it was not a good feeling. Anyway, I'm glad people have seen it.
