The outing sounds rather lovely. And for Steampunk, like many other fashions, have many sub-genres, one of the main I think being Victorian Steampunk which would be right up your alley. I've fallen in love with Steampunk myself and enjoy playing around with the different styles of clothing that I find. I think you'll find yourself right at home in the style :D

Well, thank you, darling! I think for the most part, I certainly am at home with it. At lot of that has to do with the people I've met through the subculture, but it's a new kind of Victorian Fantasy, which I automatically loved. It may take a few years to really get into the swing of it, but I'm getting there, and loving it every step of the way.
