I have nearly finished the linen boater hat for my 1890's steampunk outfit. Pattern is my own.

I was impressed with how easy linen is to work with in millinery. Usually I have to struggle to join the side crown fabric to the crown top fabric and don't even get me started on the brim tip bias trim. The linen was a breeze!!
Here is the skirt it will be seen with. I made this from the Butterick 3418, top right view.
The jacket in the photo is an antique. I do plan to make up the new one from Truly Victorian, but haven't gotten around to it yet :)
