In the land of freedom, it appalls me to see that people are being punished for the values they believe in. When people have to justify their morals, that is when this country has gone downhill. When people who don't believe in gay marriage should have to say "I'm a homophobic asshole because..." and then list reasons, just so other people can tear

In the liberal mind, it is all about tolerance and diversity, so long as you agree with their description of both; For if you don't, you're a racist and intolerant.

My favorite is how they'll label a woman like yourself as confused, uneducated, or just flat out "corrupted by the right wing" if you didn't believe in, for instance, abortion. (I have no clue on your stance here, but I'm just using it as an example)

Whenever a woman stands up and says: "No, abortion should be illegal; That's a life and I don't care what you say, it should be taken care of!" the Liberals stand up and flip out, saying that the woman surely must be confused.

When a man says it, he's "A male pig who doesn't want to give women the ability to choose."

Funny how the liberals work in this country, aint it?

Yeah, and what's extra sad is how they seem to rule all the colleges into brainwashing the students their way. :-/

You say that people are being punished for the values they believe in. As far as I can tell this punishment consists of defending their values. I see only good when people "justify their morals." I'm Catholic, so know my point of view, but I believe that contemplation and reason are as essential as faith for the good of one's soul.

Both liberals and conservatives have double standards; politics are almost invariably ugly. I don't think the "hypocritical, judgemental assholes" in the government do great harm, though. America is still a nice place to live, even for those who retain their morals, locked up or otherwise.
