Mac, also in slouchy clothes, although hers were a little more colourful, flopped on the other end of the sofa.

"I think I'm still not really awake," she declared. "Got to work on this caffeine dependency."

She could never bear to think that Sharon Agathon was good. It hurt her too much. But now, Galen and Anders, it... it hurt even worse, but she wanted to believe it.

"But... he doesn't matter now," she said. "He's gone forever.I shouldn't... think about him."
