It took me a couple of episodes to really get into. Present day is interwoven with flashbacks of 5 years ago when they were doing their astronaut candidate training. Also, there's a rather large cast so it took me a bit to get the feel of who everyone was.

I think you'd enjoy it. : ) It's epic, fun, angsty, and chock full of interesting characters.

It comes to a relatively satisfying conclusion. Kind of like the end of a chapter or season, but certainly not the end of the story. And you get to learn more about Eve and Beta in the unaired episodes.

And here's a link to the interview about how the series would have progressed after the first season: http://cliqueclack.com/tv/2009/10/29/how-defying-gravity-would-have-progressed-straight-from-the-creator/

See! You had to know someone that worked on it to hear about it.

Now, it really seems networks have already decided to cancel TV shows before they even buy them. New shows never get a chance unless they're CSI and Law and Order derived. I'm frankly surprised a show as novel as Lost got the chance it did.

I... need to remember to add it to my netflix queue now that it's out. I kept trying to watch on Hulu, but Hulu would freeze and I gave up. I LIKED THE FIFTEEN MINUTES I MANAGED. er, and then forgot about it.
